During his time as a student at Hogwarts, it was always difficult being Harry Potter. Now, being an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and a father of three school-age children, it isn't much easier. While Harry is struggling with events from his past that refuses to stay where they belong, his youngest son, Albus, is about to enter his first year as a student at Hogwarts.
On his first trip to the school, Albus becomes friends with no other than Scorpius Malfoy - the son of Harry's former enemy, Draco Malfoy. This leads to Albus being sorted into Slytherin, alongside Scorpius, and the two friends get bullied. A thought grows inside Albus' mind: He feels like he lives in his father's shadow and Harry does not know how to deal with his son's issues. And when Albus gets a Time-Turner in his possession, things take several twisting turns.
As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: Sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.
